Loctao (mung) beans, after being harvested and threshed manually in the field, go to a processing and packaging plant authorized by SENASA and go through the following processes:

  • one

    INITIAL SIEVE

In this process, most of the large impurities from the field, such as clods, stones, stems, shells, etc., are removed by automatic sieving.

  • two

    GRAVIMETRIC

In this equipment, through an oscillating movement of the table, light impurities such as dust, dry leaves, and small stems are separated, and heavy impurities such as clods and stones are also separated.

  • three

    SIEVE 2

In this other sieve, impurities from the field are again separated, but of a smaller size.

  • four

    OPTICAL SORTING

In this process, using a CCD Optical Sorter, which is an electronic device with a polychromatic CCD camera and a compressed air grain separation system, grains of another color, such as brown or wrinkled grains that are impossible to separate using other mechanical methods, are separated here.

  • five

    WEIGHED AND PACKAGED

In this final process, the bags are filled using a hopper, weighed on an electronic scale, and closed with a manual wick sewing machine.

  • six

    STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION

The finished products are packaged in new sacks, labeled with self-adhesive stickers bearing our clients' logos, and placed on pallets. They are then transported to the port in clean, closed trucks on a protective blanket. They are then stacked inside the container. Depending on the client's requirements, the cargo can be palletized or stacked directly on the container floor on cardboard to maximize space and reduce costs.
